Anterior Esthetic Implant Principles
Educational Objectives
After completing this webinar, participants will be able to:
- Describe what Emergence Profile is and how implant depth and crown size Emergence Profile.
- Evaluate the Soft Tissue condition of anterior implant sites to determine if soft tissue interventions are needed.
- Identify high and low risk anterior cases and employ prosthetic techniques to maximize esthetic success.
Abstract
The restoration of implants in the esthetic zone is a challenging but rewarding treatment modality. Instead of solely relying on flighty artistic intuition, we will discuss the important undercurrents that yield predictable results. We will focus on the three principles in successful esthetic implant restoration: 1. Emergence Profile, 2. Soft Tissue Management, and 3. Prosthetic creativity.

Dr. Eric Chen
Dr. Eric Chen is a graduate of Loma Linda University's three year Advanced Education in Implant Dentistry. His time at Loma Linda University under Dr. Joseph Kan and Dr. Jaime Lozada has reinforced his interests in the management of implants in the esthetic zone. His passion is to share and demystify implant knowledge to help his fellow colleagues achieve predictable results. He and his wife practice in sunny Scottsdale, Arizona in a practice with special focus on cosmetic and implant dentistry. In his off time he loves to fish and enjoy nature with his wife and two dogs.
