Abstract

Please join Dr. Chris Cook for a CE accredited discussion of modern procedural endodontic techniques. Dr. Cook has over 25 years of endodontic experience and is currently practicing in Louisville, KY where he also instructs at the University of Louisville School of Dentistry. 
Dr.Cook’s presentation will be focused on start to finish steps in procedural endodontics along with feedback and discussion of the tools and technology that he has found to be most effective in his practice. Some highlights of the presentation will include Dr. Cook’s diagnostic techniques, access and preparation, canal glide-path shaping, his current endodontic equipment and the use of bioceramic sealer with obturation.

Author Bio

Dr. Christopher Cook

Dr. Christopher Cook is a native of Fort Thomas, Kentucky. He graduated from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry as a Doctor of Medicine Dentistry (DMD) in 1995. After graduation, Dr. Cook served six years as an officer in the US Navy as a general dentist, where he attained the rank of Lieutenant Commander. He received his specialty training at the University of Louisville Graduate Endodontic Program. In 2003, Dr. Cook opened his first practice in Southern Indiana. He has since bought and sold multiple practices and currently practices in Louisville, Kentucky. Dr. Cook has been happily married to Tammy Cook for 18 years. They have three young children that keep them busy every minute of the day. Dr. Cook is a member of the American Association of Endodontics (AAE), the American Dental Association (ADA), the Kentucky Dental Association (KDA), the Louisville Dental Society (LDS) and the past president of the Southern Indiana Dental Association (SIDA). During the past 24 years, Dr. Cook has lectured across the country and conducted numerous continuing education courses in General Dentistry and Endodontics. He also teaches Endodontics to undergraduate and postgraduate students at the University of Louisville School of Dentistry. His other interests include studying the history of bourbon, hunting, fishing, and travel.
