Author Bio

Dr. Parihan Tamkin

Dr. Parihan “Perry” Tamkin was born in Iraq and attended medical school for Dentistry in Pakistan. She returned to New York and attended post graduate training at NYU where she received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery. She attended and fell in love with cosmetic dentistry and joined the AACD. For over 8 years with the AACD, she was president of the board of trusties, was on the Board of Directors and a leader of the Give Back A Smile Foundation for domestic abuse victims. Dr Tamkin moved to Dallas, Texas to open her cosmetic studio, Smile Lab Dallas, where she works in restoring full mouth cosmetic cases for her clients and is very involved in the art and design of the smile.

Dane Barlow, DTG

Dane began making teeth in 2012 as a dental technician and a year later purchased Smiles, Inc, the lab where he worked. Their focus was on on high end restorations in smile design and by 2016, he began the process of merging with Precision Dental Arts. As a national champion in Brazilian jiu jitsu, Dane understands that success comes from discipline in all aspects of life. The dental arts are a prime example in maintaining discipline and continuing the learning process at all times. Dane has worked side by side with two prosthodontists before moving to Dallas, Texas to work over the shoulder in cosmetic and full mouth rehabilitation with Dr Parihan Tamkin of Smile Lab Dallas
