Abstract

As dental facilities have returned to work during the global pandemic, OSHA requires that employers protect workers from infection hazards within the workplace. Hygiene practices as a component of an entire infection control program will help mitigate germs that can cause infections during dental care and help ensure a safe dental visit for patients and all who enter the facility. This webinar will address hygiene policies and protocol including hand hygiene, respiratory etiquette, and cleaning and disinfection as guiding principles to ensure a safe environment within the dental facility.
